Equality Objectives Statement

Coltishall Primary School is committed to ensuring equality of provision throughout the school community.  The governing board of Coltishall Primary Schools identified four Equality Objectives on the 30th November 2020.  

 

  • Objective 1: To train staff on how to respond effectively to prejudice-related bullying

    To achieve this objective we plan to: Provide CPD so that staff will feel more confident in responding effectively to prejudice-related bullying, as shown by the annual staff survey

    Objective 2: To narrow the gender gap in maths attainment at the end of KS1

    To achieve this objective we plan to: To reduce the gender gap difference, from a three year average of 21% (2019) , to at least 12% within 2 years and to 0% - 6% within 4 years

    Objective 3: To have inclusive and accessible recruitment practice for disabled people

    To achieve this objective we plan to: Attain Level 2 as a Disability Confident Employer

    Objective 4: Positive gender and ethnic role models that challenge societal norms and increase diversity

    To achieve this objective we plan to: Explicitly identifying resources and role models in the school curriculum that provide diversity
