Cricket Club Review

In the Summer Term, there is a free Cricket Club on Fridays after school for girls and boys in KS2.  Our coach, called Ryan Findlay comes from Horsford Cricket Club.  Every session starts with small games and skills practice, which is followed by a game of diamond or quick cricket.

Our favourite warm up game is called “Battleships”: we are split up into four teams and stand in a square-shaped grid.  The idea is to stop the ball landing on the ground in your grid by catching it.  If it touches the ground, the nearest person to the ball has to sit it out until someone else makes a catch.  It is a lot of fun!
