Clubs & Activities

Here at Coltishall we aim to give the children the opportunity to broaden their horizons by trying as many different pursuits as possible.  There is a wide range of activities available to pupils at our school covering music, sports & various other centres of interest.

To help busy parents & carers we run Breakfast Club every day from 8.00am & Red Robins After School Club till 6.00pm: here pupils can eat a satisfying snack & have fun in a safe, supervised environment.  These wrap-around clubs are extremely popular however & usually need to be booked well in advance.

Peripatetic music teachers come to our school & teach an amazing variety of instruments.  In fact, children are playing so many different ones that we have been able to create our school orchestra, organised & lead by the marvellous Mr Marsden.

Our Sports activities are organised & managed by our wonderful teachers, Mr & Mrs Ward, with outside coaches being brought in for certain activities.

Volunteers from Broadland High School often help out at the sports clubs; they are often ex-pupils coming back to give their juniors a helping hand.

Other clubs we run vary from term to term depending on availability of teachers & volunteers; these have included Wildlife Club, Film Club French Club, Reading Club & Coding Club.

There is a charge for music lessons & certain clubs. However, we do try to keep this to a minimum.  Pupil Premium can cover these charges for eligible pupils.

We have many musicians in our school who play a large variety of instruments & sing, as you can see from the Summer Concert photo below.  Come & join us!
