Attendance

We are very aware of the close link between attendance and achievement in our school.  The general rule of thumb is:

‘the higher child’s attendance – the better the child’s progress’.

Schools have to publish rates of attendance which relate to the school year prior to the year of publication.

2016-17 Attendance Rate

The official attendance data for 2016-17 should be available in March 2018.

Provisional data for 2016-17:

Number on roll: 205

Attendance: 96.3%

with Sycamore Class as the 2016-17 Attendance Champions!

2015-16 Attendance Rate

Number of children on roll in 2015/16: 190

Attendance: 96.2%  (National average: 95.4%)

This data is from official DfE "overall absence" statistics.

The attendance rate for our pupils has continued to be good in the 2015-16 school year & we are still above the national average. Congratulations to pupils, parents & staff for this joint effort.  Let's hope the 2016-17 attendance is even better!

Chestnut Class were once again the overall Attendance Champions in 2015-16 - well done!
